The St. John Eagles basketball team (Plaquemine, LA), dropped 52-33 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA)

The Redhawks now sport a 9-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 8. Central Private will battle a Rebels team coming off a 66-29 non-league loss to St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 6-16.

The Eagles (3-18) will now prepare for their battle against Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA). The Bulldogs come into the 1A District 8 battle with a 8-14 record. In their last battle, Ascension Catholic was outscored by Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA), 66-37, in a non-league match.
