Clarion Area Bobcats (Clarion, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Venango Catholic Vikings (Oil City, PA), 76-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Clarion Area upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Bobcats host Cranberry Area (Seneca, PA) to play the Berries in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Berries go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Cranberry Area won 71-49 in their recent league bout against Allegheny-Clarion Valley (Foxburg, PA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Clarion-Limestone Lions (Strattanville, PA) in a Keystone Shortway bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Venango Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 55-49 league win over Clarion Area (Clarion, PA).
