New York High School Basketball - Wellsville knocked off by Fillmore

The Fillmore Eagles basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Wellsville Lions to 61 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now sport a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Friendship for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 7. Fillmore will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 47-35 non-league win over Alfred-Almond (Almond, NY). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-5.
The Lions (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hornell (Hornell, NY). The Red Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Hornell ran past Haverling (Bath, NY), 72-51, in a league contest.
