Franklin Hornets (Franklin, LA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting West St. Mary Wolfpack (Baldwin, LA), 67-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 17-6 on the season. The Hornets host Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA) to clash with the Panthers in a 2A District 8 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 22-7. Catholic - N.I. won 47-36 in their recent league bout against Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA)

Next up, the Wolfpack clash with the Loreauville Tigers (Loreauville, LA) in a 2A District 8 bout, on Monday, February 12. West St. Mary will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record.
