The Grand Rapids Thunderhawks (Grand Rapids, MN) basketball nipped the visiting Hibbing Bluejackets (Hibbing, MN), 55-50 in Monday's non-league test.
The Thunderhawks (8-13) will now prepare for their test against Cloquet (Cloquet, MN). The Lumberjacks go into the AAA Section 7 test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Cloquet got by Marshall (Duluth, MN), 77-66, in a non-league test.
The Bluejackets now own a 2-15 record. They play next when they travel to Andover for a non-league test on Friday, February 9. Hibbing will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 73-64 non-league loss to Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 7-13.
