The Louisville Wildcats basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Houston Hilltoppers to 40 in the Wildcats league triumph on Monday.

The Wildcats now sport a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kosciusko for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 7. Louisville will meet a Whippets team coming off a 61-44 league win over Caledonia (Caledonia, MS). The Whippets record now stands at 20-7.

The Hilltoppers (5-20) will now prepare for their contest against Pepin/Alma (Pepin, WI). The enter the non-league contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Pepin/Alma was routed by Cochrane-Fountain City (Fountain City, WI), 61-34, in a non-league contest.
