The Jackson Christian Royals basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Tekonsha Indians to 28 in the Royals league triumph on Monday.

The Royals now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Philip Catholic Central for a Southern Central contest on Tuesday, February 6. Jackson Christian will battle a Fighting Tigers team coming off a 55-49 league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, MI). The Fighting Tigers record now stands at 8-6.

The Indians (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Colon (Colon, MI). The Magi enter the Southern Central contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Colon was defeated by Bellevue (Bellevue, MI), 65-56, in a league contest.
