Kansas Comets (Kansas, OK) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Westville Yellowjackets (Westville, OK), 41-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kansas upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Comets travel to Inola (Inola, OK) to play the Longhorns in a Five Lakes bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 14-3. Inola won 98-58 in their recent league bout against Salina (Salina, OK)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Stigler Panthers (Stigler, OK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Westville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 47-33 league win over Hartshorne (Hartshorne, OK).
