The Lamoille Lancers basketball team (Hyde Park, VT), was nudged 63-58 in Monday's league battle with the host Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT)

The Vikings now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montpelier for a Capital battle on Wednesday, February 7. Lyndon Institute will battle a Solons team coming off a 69-58 league win over Harwood (Moretown, VT). The Solons record now stands at 13-3.

The Lancers (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Thetford Academy (Thetford, VT). The Panthers come into the Capital battle with a 15-1 record. In their last battle, Thetford Academy edged Randolph (Randolph, VT), 60-52, in a league battle.
