Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Liberty Raiders (Glen Daniel, WV), 75-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Summers County upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Bobcats host River View (Bradshaw, WV) to confront the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 12-1. River View won 86-66 in their recent non-league challenge against Van (Van, WV)

Next up, the Raiders confront the PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV) in a Coalfield AA challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 74-45 league win over Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV).
