New York High School Basketball - Newtown trounces Long Island City

The Newtown Pioneers (Elmhurst, NY) basketball crushed the visiting Long Island City Bulldogs (Long Island City, NY), 95-58 in Monday's league test.
The Pioneers (11-2) will now prepare for their test against John Adams (Ozone Park, NY). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, John Adams walloped Flushing (Flushing, NY), 49-46, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-10 record.
