The New Plymouth Pilgrims (New Plymouth, ID) basketball nipped the host Nampa Christian Trojans (Nampa, ID), 70-64 in Monday's league test.
The Pilgrims (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Melba (Melba, ID). The Mustangs go into the 2A Western Idaho test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Melba got by North Star (Eagle, ID), 86-39, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to North Star for a 2A Western Idaho test on Wednesday, February 7. Nampa Christian will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 86-39 league loss to Melba (Melba, ID). The Huskies record now stands at 2-17.
