The South Barber Chieftains basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Norwich Eagles to 35 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Monday.

The Chieftains now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pretty Prairie for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. South Barber will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-41 non-league loss to Central Christian (Hutchinson, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-9.

The Eagles (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Stafford (Stafford, KS). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Stafford was nudged by South Barber (Kiowa, KS), 49-40, in a non-league contest.
