Preston Pirates (Preston, OK) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oklahoma Union Cougars (South Coffeyville, OK), 78-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Preston upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Pirates host Eufaula (Eufaula, OK) to play the Ironheads in a Big Eight Star bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Ironheads go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Eufaula lost 52-49 in their recent league bout against Kellyville (Kellyville, OK)

Next up, the Cougars play the Fairland Owls (Fairland, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Oklahoma Union will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record.
