Proctor Phantoms (Proctor, VT) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Twinfield Trojans (Plainfield, VT), 60-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Proctor upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Phantoms host Mill River (North Clarendon, VT) to clash with the Minutemen in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Minutemen go into the bout with a record of 4-12. Mill River lost 65-52 in their recent non-league bout against West Rutland (West Rutland, VT)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Stowe Raiders (Stowe, VT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Twinfield will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 73-39 league loss to Winooski (Winooski, VT).
