The Salisbury Dragons basketball team scored 54 points and held the host The Gunston School Herons to 49 in the Dragons league triumph on Monday.
The Dragons now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salisbury Christian for a Eastern Shore contest on Tuesday, February 6. Salisbury will meet a team coming off a 49-39 non-league win over Calvary Christian Academy (Dover, DE). The record now stands at 4-18.
The Herons (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against St. Michaels (St. Michaels, MD). The Saints enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, St. Michaels was nudged by Easton (Easton, MD), 72-46, in a league game.
