The Wabaunsee Chargers basketball team (Alma, KS), was overwhelmed 73-45 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Silver Lake Eagles (Silver Lake, KS)

The Eagles now possess a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rossville for a non-league battle on Friday, February 9. Silver Lake will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 64-57 non-league loss to Osage City (Osage City, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-6.

The Chargers (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Mission Valley (Eskridge, KS). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Mission Valley was overwhelmed by Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool (Topeka, KS), 55-32, in a non-league battle.
