St. Agnes Aggies (St. Paul, MN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting St. Croix Prep Lions (Stillwater, MN), 63-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Agnes upgrades its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Aggies host Breck (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 24-0. Breck won 100-50 in their recent non-league bout against Brooklyn Center (Brooklyn Center, MN)

Next up, the Lions play the New Life Academy Eagles (Woodbury, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. St. Croix Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 73-65 non-league win over Cristo Rey Jesuit (Minneapolis, MN).
