The Imlay City Spartans basketball team scored 38 points and held the host Almont Raiders to 27 in the Spartans league triumph on Monday.
The Spartans now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Almont for a Blue Water Area contest on Friday, February 9. Imlay City will battle a Raiders team coming off a 35-27 non-league win over Bad Axe (Bad Axe, MI). The Raiders record now stands at 4-11.
The Raiders (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Bad Axe (Bad Axe, MI). The Hatchets enter the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Bad Axe ran past Laker (Pigeon, MI), 47-43, in a league contest.
