Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Talladega County Central Fighting Tigers (Talladega, AL), 53-21 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Appalachian upgrades its record to 15-11 on the campaign. The Eagles host Jefferson Christian Academy (Birmingham, AL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 15-4. Jefferson Christian Academy won 46-24 in their recent non-league bout against Victory Christian (Pell City, AL)
