The Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets basketball team (St. Albans, VT), was nudged 61-55 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT)

The Cougars now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Champlain Valley Union for a Metro battle on Thursday, February 8. Mt. Mansfield will confront a Redhawks team coming off a 56-37 league win over Burlington (Burlington, VT). The Redhawks record now stands at 13-1.

The Bobwhites/Comets (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT). The Green Knights come into the Metro battle with a 1-13 record. In their last battle, Rice Memorial was nudged by St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT), 77-25, in a league battle.
