Maryland High School Basketball - Bowie overwhelms Laurel

Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Bowie Bulldogs (Bowie, MD) and the visiting Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD), saw Bowie's basketball squad wallop Laurel by a count of 75-40.

With the victory, Bowie upgrades its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Parkdale (Riverdale, MD) to play the Panthers in a Prince George's County 4A challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. Parkdale won 58-15 in their recent league challenge against Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD)

The Spartans now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Flowers for a Prince George's County 4A test on Thursday, February 8. Laurel will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 63-33 league win over Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD). The Jaguars record now stands at 16-1.
