The June Buchanan Crusaders basketball team (Pippa Passes, KY), dropped 47-37 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Buckhorn Wildcats (Buckhorn, KY)

The Wildcats now possess a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lee County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 6. Buckhorn will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 41-39 non-league loss to Sayre (Lexington, KY). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-13.

The Crusaders (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Cordia (Hazard, KY). The Lions come into the District 53 battle with a 5-21 record.
