Iowa High School Basketball - West Marshall edges Carlisle

The West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA) basketball nipped the visiting Carlisle Wildcats (Carlisle, IA), 67-62 in Monday's non-league test.
The Trojans (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Saydel (Des Moines, IA). The Eagles go into the Heart of Iowa test with a 7-14 record. In their last test, Saydel was tipped by West Central Valley (Stuart, IA), 53-13, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Carroll for a Raccoon River test on Tuesday, February 6. Carlisle will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 56-40 league loss to Gilbert (Gilbert, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-9.
