The Carmel Padres basketball team (Carmel, CA), was overwhelmed 61-29 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Greenfield Bruins (Greenfield, CA)
The Bruins now possess a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stevenson for a PCAL - Mission battle on Wednesday, February 7. Greenfield will battle a Pirates team coming off a 57-26 league loss to Soledad (Soledad, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 4-16.
The Padres (1-20) will now prepare for their battle against Seaside (Seaside, CA). The Spartans come into the PCAL - Mission battle with a 9-12 record. In their last battle, Seaside trounced Stevenson (Pebble Beach, CA), 39-36, in a league battle.
