Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sweet Home Huskies (Sweet Home, OR), 57-17 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cascade upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Stayton (Stayton, OR) to play the Eagles in a 4A Oregon West bout on Thursday, February 8. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 13-4. Stayton won 58-15 in their recent league bout against North Marion (Aurora, OR)

Next up, the Huskies play the Newport Cubs (Newport, OR) in a 4A Oregon West bout, on Thursday, February 8. Sweet Home will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Cubs come into the bout with a 3-15 record after their 64-15 league loss to Philomath (Philomath, OR).
