Maine High School Basketball - Hermon trounces Central

The Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) basketball crushed the visiting Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME), 49-23 in Monday's non-league test.
The Hawks (5-13) will now prepare for their test against John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME). The Crusaders go into the B North test with a 2-15 record. In their last test, John Bapst Memorial was trounced by Washington Academy (East Machias, ME), 41-26, in a league test.
The Red Devils now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Orono for a C North test on Wednesday, February 7. Central will encounter a Riots squad coming off a 26-16 league loss to Dexter (Dexter, ME). The Riots record now stands at 5-12.
