The Mt. Pleasant Oilers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Central Wolves to 31 in the Oilers league triumph on Monday.

The Oilers now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Mt. Pleasant will meet a Hawks team coming off a 44-36 league win over Arthur Hill (Saginaw, MI). The Hawks record now stands at 7-6.

The Wolves (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Ogemaw Heights triumphed over Hale (Hale, MI), 54-37, in a non-league contest.
