Nevada High School Basketball - Chaparral trounced by Pinecrest Academy Cadence

The Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars routed the visiting Chaparral Cowboys basketball team by a final score of 48-13 in Monday's league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Cristo Rey St. Viator Royals (North Las Vegas, NV) in a 3A Southern - Desert game, on Wednesday, February 7. Pinecrest Academy Cadence will attempt to move on its 7-18 season record. The Royals enter the game with a 2-14 record after their 26-18 non-league loss to Mountain View Christian (Las Vegas, NV).

With the defeat, Chaparral moves to 1-16 on the year. The Cowboys host Mater Academy East Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV) to confront the Knights in a 3A Southern - Desert battle on Wednesday, February 7. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 10-10. Mater Academy East Las Vegas lost 65-37 in their recent league battle against Moapa Valley (Overton, NV)
