Chassell Panthers (Chassell, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Dollar Bay Bays (Dollar Bay, MI), 40-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Chassell upgrades its record to 4-10 on the season. The Panthers host Lake Linden-Hubbell (Lake Linden, MI) to play the Lakes in a Copper Mountain bout on Thursday, February 8. The Lakes go into the bout with a record of 16-1. Lake Linden-Hubbell won 59-46 in their recent league bout against Jeffers (Painesdale, MI)

Next up, the Bays play the L'Anse Purple Hornets (L'Anse, MI) in a Copper Mountain bout, on Thursday, February 8. Dollar Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Purple Hornets go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 51-44 non-league win over Ontonagon (Ontonagon, MI).
