In Monday's league outing, the Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Claiborne Bulldogs (New Tazewell, TN), by a margin of 77-37.
The Falcons (13-9) will now prepare for their outing against Greeneville (Greeneville, TN). The Greene Devils go into the 3A District 2 outing with a 14-10 record. In their last outing, Greeneville smashed Grainger (Rutledge, TN), 84-47, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now own a 7-17 record. They play next when they travel to Knoxville Ambassadors for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 6. Claiborne will clash with a Ambassadors squad coming off a 47-36 league win over Eagleton College & Career Academy (Maryville, TN). The Ambassadors record now stands at 7-9.
