Warwick Wildcats (Warwick, NY) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY), 49-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Warwick upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Goshen Central (Goshen, NY) to play the Gladiators in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Gladiators come into the bout with a record of 1-12. Goshen Central lost 44-28 in their recent league bout against Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY)

Next up, the Dragons play the Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County II bout, on Thursday, February 8. Cornwall Central will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 34-28 non-league win over Monticello (Monticello, NY).
