Nebraska High School Basketball - Creighton ripped by O'Neill

The O'Neill Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Creighton Bulldogs to 42 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.

The Eagles now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainview for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. O'Neill will battle a Pirates team coming off a 51-41 non-league loss to Wynot (Wynot, NE). The Pirates record now stands at 14-5.

The Bulldogs (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NE). The Bees enter the D1 District 7 contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Bloomfield was routed by Neligh-Oakdale (Neligh, NE), 51-41, in a league contest.
