In Monday's league outing, the Crittenden County Rockets (Marion, KY) basketball squad beat the host Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY), by a count of 56-44.
The Rockets (14-10) will now prepare for their outing against Calloway County (Murray, KY). The Lakers go into the non-league outing with a 19-5 record. In their last outing, Calloway County defeated St. Mary (Paducah, KY), 60-23, in a non-league outing.
The Wildcats now hold a 3-18 record. They play next when they host Lyon County for a District 5 outing on Tuesday, February 6. Trigg County will clash with a Lyons squad coming off a 52-25 non-league loss to Henderson County (Henderson, KY). The Lyons record now stands at 14-8.
