Maine High School Basketball - Dexter winner over Orono

The Dexter Tigers (Dexter, ME) basketball felled the host Orono Riots (Orono, ME), 26-16 in Monday's league test.
The Tigers (16-1) will now prepare for their test against Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME). The Ponies go into the non-league test with a 2-15 record. In their last test, Foxcroft Academy was beaten by Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME), 42-31, in a league test.
The Riots now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a C North test on Wednesday, February 7. Orono will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 49-23 non-league loss to Hermon (Hermon, ME). The Red Devils record now stands at 10-5.
