The Nashua-Plainfield Huskies basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Don Bosco Dons to 23 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Monday.

The Huskies now sport a 5-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Butler for a Corn Bowl contest on Tuesday, February 6. Nashua-Plainfield will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 58-32 non-league loss to Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-17.

The Dons (2-18) will now prepare for their contest against Waterloo Christian (Waterloo, IA). The Regents enter the Iowa Star contest with a 15-6 record. In their last contest, Waterloo Christian triumphed over Meskwaki Settlement (Tama, IA), 61-41, in a league contest.
