Greenwood Wildcats (Millerstown, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host East Juniata Tigers (McAlisterville, PA), 28-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Greenwood upgrades its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Midd-West (Middleburg, PA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 1-19. Midd-West lost 71-27 in their recent non-league bout against Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy (Boalsburg, PA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Susquenita Blackhawks (Duncannon, PA) in a Tri-Valley bout, on Thursday, February 8. East Juniata will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Blackhawks come into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 45-30 non-league win over West Perry (Elliottsburg, PA).
