The Ursuline Fighting Irish basketball team scored 53 points and held the host East to 39 in the Fighting Irish league triumph on Monday.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cardinal Mooney for a Freelance contest on Wednesday, February 7. Ursuline will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 57-22 non-league loss to Canfield (Canfield, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-10.
The (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Youngstown, OH). The Leopards enter the non-league contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Liberty ran past Memorial (Campbell, OH), 48-4, in a league contest.
