West Harrison Hurricanes (Gulfport, MS) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS), 63-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, West Harrison upgrades its record to 13-12 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS) to play the Panthers in a 6A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 13-9. Pascagoula won 25-19 in their recent non-league bout against Moss Point (Moss Point, MS)
