The Union Knights basketball team (La Porte City, IA), was overwhelmed 56-23 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels (Reinbeck, IA)

The Rebels now possess a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nashua-Plainfield for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 8. Gladbrook-Reinbeck will confront a Huskies team coming off a 42-33 league win over North Butler (Greene, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 6-15.

The Knights (4-18) will now prepare for their battle against West Delaware (Manchester, IA). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 9-12 record. In their last battle, West Delaware was overwhelmed by Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA), 53-34, in a league battle.
