The Stanton Vikings basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Griswold Tigers to 36 in the Vikings non-league victory on Monday.

The Vikings now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Harrison for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Stanton will battle a Hawkeyes team coming off a 54-32 non-league loss to Woodbury Central (Moville, IA). The Hawkeyes record now stands at 8-15.

The Tigers (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Essex (Essex, IA). The Trojans come into the non-league match with a 5-14 record. In their last match, Essex crushed Diagonal (Diagonal, IA), 52-42, in a non-league match.
