The Jesup J-Hawks (Jesup, IA) basketball crushed the visiting Wapsie Valley Warriors (Fairbank, IA), 54-31 in Monday's league test.
The J-Hawks (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Wolverines go into the North Iowa Cedar - East test with a 18-2 record. In their last test, Dike-New Hartford walloped Denver (Denver, IA), 55-22, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Grundy Center for a non-league test on Monday, February 5. Wapsie Valley will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 66-42 non-league loss to Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 18-2.
