Illinois High School Basketball - Reed-Custer knocked off by Lisle

February 5, 2024: Braidwood, IL 60408

The Lisle Lions basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Reed-Custer Comets to 41 in the Lions league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now sport a 19-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peotone for a Illinois Central 8 contest on Thursday, February 8. Lisle will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 46-34 non-league win over St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 22-4.

The Comets (13-15) will now prepare for their contest against Wilmington (Wilmington, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 9-19 record. In their last contest, Wilmington was defeated by Herscher (Herscher, IL), 45-35, in a league contest.
