Missouri High School Basketball - Louisiana can't hold off Winfield

The Winfield Warriors basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Louisiana Bulldogs to 53 in the Warriors non-league victory on Monday.
The Warriors now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Charles for a Gateway - North contest on Wednesday, February 7. Winfield will battle a Pirates team coming off a 46-30 league loss to St. Charles West (St. Charles, MO). The Pirates record now stands at 5-15.
The Bulldogs (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Montgomery County (Montgomery City, MO). The Wildcats come into the Eastern Missouri contest with a 19-3 record. In their last contest, Montgomery County edged Mark Twain (Center, MO), 67-30, in a league contest.
