With the win, Washburn Rural upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Blues host Junction City/St. Xavier (Junction City, KS) to clash with the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Junction City/St. Xavier lost 48-14 in their recent non-league bout against Emporia (Emporia, KS)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Topeka Trojans (Topeka, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Manhattan will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record.
