The Marion County Warriors basketball team (Jasper, TN), was overwhelmed 72-33 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Polk County Wildcats (Benton, TN)

The Wildcats now possess a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McMinn Central for a 2A District 3 battle on Thursday, February 8. Polk County will confront a Chargers team coming off a 56-44 non-league loss to Bradley Central (Cleveland, TN). The Chargers record now stands at 22-3.

The Warriors (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against Signal Mountain (Signal Mountain, TN). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 13-4 record.
