The McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) basketball crushed the visiting Mercy Magic (Baltimore, MD), 78-36 in Monday's league test.
The Eagles (21-4) will now prepare for their test against Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD). The Cougars go into the IAAM A test with a 9-12 record.
The Magic now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they host St. Mary's for a IAAM A test on Friday, February 9. Mercy will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 67-59 league loss to St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD). The Saints record now stands at 18-8.
