Pigeon Forge Tigers (Pigeon Forge, TN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Seymour Eagles (Seymour, TN), 45-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pigeon Forge upgrades its record to 10-11 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Austin-East (Knoxville, TN) to play the Roadrunners in a 2A District 2 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Roadrunners come into the bout with a record of 6-7. Austin-East lost 35-27 in their recent non-league bout against Fulton (Knoxville, TN)

Next up, the Eagles play the Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals (Maryville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Seymour will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Royals come into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 50-38 non-league loss to Maryville Christian (Maryville, TN).
