In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Smith Jewish Day School Lions basketball squad scored a close 35-31 victory over the Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets.
With the victory, Smith Jewish Day School improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign.
Next up, the Hornets confront the Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Spencerville Adventist Academy will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record.
