In Monday's league test, the host Portledge Panthers ice hockey team scored a tight 5-1 win over the Greenwich Academy Gators.

The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Lawrenceville School (Lawrenceville, NJ). The Big Red enter the test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Lawrenceville School by Dexter Southfield (Brookline, MA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

Next up, the Gators encounter the Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) in a test, on Wednesday, February 7. Greenwich Academy will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record. The Big Red enter the test with a 4-9 record after their 4-0 league loss to Williston Northampton (Easthampton, MA).
